About the Artists:

Suzi Shelton
For over a decade, Suzi Shelton has been a beloved voice in independent family music and a cornerstone of the NYC kids’ music scene. A Park Slope favorite, she regularly fills playgrounds and venues like Old Stone House of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Public Library, and Jalopy Theatre. Her Wake Up & Dance series at Shapeshifter Lab has become a monthly hotspot for families with young children.

Benjamin (Princess Backpack and Benjamin)
Benjamin writes for beloved kids’ TV shows including Rosie’s Rules (PBS) and Dora (Nickelodeon). His musical project, Princess Backpack, features a magical talking bag from the kingdom of Backpackia. Together with friends like Suzi Shelton, Benjamin creates playful, joyful, heartfelt kids’ music heard on kids’ radio stations around the world.

Little Miss Ann (Ann Torralba)
A nationally touring Filipina American family music artist, Little Miss Ann has released 9 kids’ albums. She’s a former Chicago Public School teacher, instructor at the Old Town School of Folk Music, and a social justice activist. Her music encourages kids to let their lights shine bright!
